High Pressure Waterjet Cutting Machine Nanjing Bitong Technology is a leading Chinese waterjet manufacturer, with brand name BTECH, also known as water cutter. The machine is made in China. Abrasive jet and water only jet cutters use the technology of compressing water to ultra high pressure, typically between 30,000 and 90,000 psi, to create extremely concentrated force to cut materials, both metal and non metal. A pure water cutter pressurizes a stream of water flow (without abrasive) to cut materials such as foam, rubber, plastic, cloth, carpet and wood. On the other hand, abrasive jet cutters mix abrasive garnet to a pressurized water stream to cut harder materials. Examples are: stainless steel, titanium, glass, ceramic tile, marble and granite. Water cutting yields very little heat during the cutting process, therefore it does not create heat affected zone (HAZ), and hence in most cases will not require further heat treatment. Water cutting machining is also considered as a "cold cut" process and therefore is safe for cutting flammable materials such as rubber, plastic and polymers. With a reasonable cutting speed setting, the edges resulted are often of satisfactory.
